Lincoln "Link" Hudson is one of the core characters of Let's Play. Link has known the main protagonist Sam Young for several years and they've formed a meaningful friendship. However we quickly discover that Link is interested in something more though Sam isn't picking up on his awkward attempts at asking for a date.

Link first met Sam a number of years ago while his father was in the hospital suffering from lung cancer. Having overheard Link crying about his father's condition Sam provided a sympathetic ear and friendship while she was in the hospital as part of a drug trial whenever Link needed to clear his mind. During this difficult period Sam's company proved to be a pleasant diversion from the emotional roller coaster of his father's illness and they formed a friendship that has persisted even after Link's father passed away. During their time together Link and Sam blended their interests while their friendship was forming, Link's fascination with mythology and Sam's game creation.
Link currently lives with his mother and younger brother Dallas. He also holds down two jobs, one as a barista at The Daily Grind coffee house and the other as a paramedic at the local hospital.
With some help from his supervisor Dee at The Daily Grind, Sam was helped to realize that Link is interested in more than just a friendship with her. Although there seems to be some hurdles to developing a romantic relationship due primarily to Sam's inexperience, there are some positive signs for a blooming romance.
Personality
Link is a sweet and caring individual which comes through especially when he is tending to people as a paramedic. The other side of that coin is that Link is highly protective of the people closest to him and isn't afraid to be more aggressive if it necessary.
