Charles Jones is an intelligent, poised individual who serves as the General Manager at Young Technologies. His formal way of speaking and cultured manner gives the impression of being cold and distant. However, despite Charles' adherence to formality he does care about the people he manages. Charles is from Wales though his time in America has led to a decline in is his Welsh as he has little opportunity to speak it. In addition to his duties at Young Technologies Charles is also a fencing instructor and freelances as a consultant to escape room designers. Although a skilled fencer capable of holding his own against an Olympic medal winner, Charles has never competed at that level himself. Charles' life long interest in puzzles and riddles combined with his attention to detail have allowed him to excel at going through escape rooms to the point where he is in demand as a consultant.
After learning about Sam's true feelings about taking over as CEO at Young Technologies, Charles bends the truth with Samuel through some unique phrasing, and convinces him to let Sam to become his new assistant.
Personality
Charles is extremely composed and exudes an air of confidence. He treats everyone with respect but has little patience for those unwilling to show a similar level of respect in return.
