Ruminate

Ruminate is the puzzle adventure game created by Sam Young. As her first game she spent much of her time in college working on it and finishing it up following graduation. The creation of many of the puzzles was assisted by Link Hudson as he also interested in mythology and fables. The artwork for Ruminate was done by another of Sam's friends from college Jasmine and so many of the characters resemble other of Sam's friends.

Posted on the Indigineer site Ruminate garnered a very respectable score of 8.2 out of 10 after just over a month. However after a review was posted by Marshall Law where he struggled making progress his fan based swamped the site with negative reviews causing the score to plummet to a depressing 0.3. To make matters worse the unusual surge in traffic caused Sam's profile to be suspended.

After learning what his fan base did to Sam's rating Marshall has pulled the video of him playing Ruminate from his channel and made inquiries to restore her rating. He also attempted to give Sam all the money the video had earned but she refused to accept. In return for help with a programming issue Marshall has agreed to replay Ruminate and provide Sam with his honest opinion of the game. He has been recording his replay of Ruminate and playing it as intended has had much more success in progressing this time around.

Characters

Dragon - This character is modeled after Bowser.

Ghost - This character is modeled after Sam Young.

Grandmother - This character is modeled after Edgar.

Kat-kin - These are a race of NPCs (Non-Player Characters) that occupy the world of Ruminate, including one who operates as a merchant when players first begin their game.
