—Samuel Young, Sr., Episode 7[1]

Samuel Young, Sr.'s height and build create an imposing figure and fully justified when coming to the protection of his daughter Sam Young from any perceived threat. However Samuel is also rather sensitive when his family aren't in danger and isn't particularly shy about showing this more emotional side of his persona.

Biography

Background

"Now that I know my offspring is safe- time to seize the day and get back to work!"

—Samuel Young, Sr., Episode 19[2]

Samuel Young, Sr. is the founder and CEO of Young Technologies which managed to survive when many others failed during the "Dot-com" bust of the 1990's through his leadership and business acumen. His wife, Mrs. Young, was for many years the receptionist at Young Technologies and is a key reason why inter-office romance is not prohibited to this day.

The premature birth of their daughter Sam Young likely had a big impact on Samuel's becoming an extremely overprotective parent. This helicopter parent mentality has extended to the point where Samuel used his company to create a special application known as the 5-P Alarm (Peachy-Pumpkin-Pooh Protection Protocol) to assist him whenever he feels Sam may be in danger.

Personality

Samuel is much more sensitive than most people would assume given his intimidating appearance and isn't afraid to shed tears. However, whenever his family is in danger his aggressive side comes to the fore front and violence becomes a viable option.

Appearance

Samuel is very tall with broad shoulders and has dark brown eyes. His hair is fairly short and is mostly brown but has begun to go gray at the temples extending towards the back. Samuel also has a small goatee which is predominantly brown but is also beginning to show some touches of gray.
