Vikki has been friends with Angela and Sam for several years and attended the same university with them. She also shares an apartment with Angela in order to help her recover from the emotional trauma of a sexual assault that Angela suffered. Vikki currently works as a Yoga and meditation instructor. These skills along with her spiritual nature allow Vikki to sense things outside of their world, occasionally breaking the fourth wall.

Vikki is very cool and collected and little seems to ruffle her feathers. She is a free spirit and comfortable in her own skin even to the point of walking around the apartment naked. Although she does try to limit this while Angela is at home as well as she is discomfited by Vikki's nudity.
